hmm..am still doing research on the verse matt 16:19 but so far..all are the same as to hafing the authority in evaluating. Taken from a site: Jesus also says that Peter has the keys of the kingdom of heaven; this isn't that he admits people to heaven, but that Peter opened the door of the kingdom to both the Jews (Acts 2:38 -39) and the Gentiles (Acts 10:34-44). in other words, as wat marcus has put it, not authority to determine but to announce, guilt or innocence.

also, am doing research on the pt of Jesus hafing a wife. i got no direct ans as the bible does not state clearly so. but check tis site: http://www.markdroberts.com/htmfiles/resources/jesusmarried.htm.
there are some interesting stuffs there though it is a rather long read.
