Phew! All my projects are officially over and next week will be my exams soon. That is fast. This semester seems to pass by so fast. I guess it is due to all the work that seemed to last forever.

Last Thursday was my class event, "Family Fun Carnival @ National Museum". It was a huge success as there was a large turnout on that day and the programme went as planned. The event was supposed to start at 10am as that is the time National Museum opens. But as typically Singaporeans, the queue started at 9.30am and by the time it was 9.45am, the queue was super long. As expected, there were complaints or more like unreasonable Singaporeans such as an uncle who made such a big commotion over six goodie bags and holding up the queue. Come on la! He one person wanted six goodie bags. Kiasu man.

The queue was super long that my members at the registration counter went super busy and the goodie bags "disappeared" like lighting. We had to go up and down the escalator to carry more bags down from the room and thankfully, I had my little brother to help out. And not to my surprise, there were parents who helped their kid colour for the art competition. We weren't stupid to differentiate a child's artwork to a parent's artwork. So to be fair, when it came for the judges to judge the artworks, those obviously "created" by the parents were taken off.

All the stations including the traditional games and the kite-making had lots of people taking part. The kite-making station had such a big participation rate that we ran out of supplies and had to rush out to purchase more. When the registration counter closed, there were some who wanted only the sticks to bring home to do their own kite and we gave since there were extras.

Overall, the event was a roaring success and from the feedback gathered from Katharyn, National Museum had the highest visitation among the other three museums amounting to about 4,500 people. I was super surprised but happy as well. Komala was such a super good emcee that she did it so professionally. Thanks Komi!

Now that the event is over, I can finally relax but I missed using the walkie talkie. Haha. It was fun. O yeah..abby if you are reading this, thanks gal for helping out. :)

I wanna blog somemore but I think I shall stop here for now. Till next time. Toddles.
