The past 2 weeks had been quite a busy and packed period for me. Projects are coming to a due and after that, it will be exams already. How fast manz.

For my psychology, I had to do IQ/EQ tests and 2 personality tests. And the results were my IQ is slightly above the average and EQ is slightly below average. Wahahaha. The personality tests results were even more funnier. The first test I took indicated that I am an introvert while the second test indicated I am an extrovert. Contradicting la can. But after I thought about it, it is actually true because I at times can be at extreme side. Haha.

I also started my first DG and it was really surprising by the turnout, 8 gals and 1 guy (because 2 gals brought him along). It was ok as it was only the introductory session. I was super happy as they were interactive and opened to sharing. The one thing that encouraged me a lot was their hunger for God and His Word. Although when I asked them about their reason for coming and mostly gave model answers, I could really see the spiritual hunger and thirst in their eyes. Praise God!!! Starting this DG also make me feel happy and refresh. :)

There was also Mass E conducted by the mssion team on thurs and I had to act as the guy's gf. It was fun and it seemed to be a picnic as it took place at a field in bedok reservoir where mats are laid. Then at the end, I gave the mission team people each a towel with their name and a verse painted on. I was very happy to see their smiles when they saw the towels.

Then yesterday, I had to go back to school for finance test. Argh. Imagine having test on a weekend. That suz. Anyway, I went for lunch with gavin, daryl, aisha, corinne and nabilah before we went to watch 'Pirates of the Carribean - Dead Man's Chest'. It was a long and nice show although I prefer the first one. There was no ending as there is going to be a third one. After that, I took a cab to attend rachel jie's 21st birthday. There was lots of food and the people were mainly from church and her Seattle friends. O..and I realised that I was the youngest there. Wahahaha. ;P

As for today, I was glad I went for youth service. Larissa Lam from LA came and she told us her testimony and shared her songs, which told her story. Her songs are super meaningful and of course, I went to buy her album 'Revolutionary' after that and got her autograph. Heehee ;)

Kk..I shall update until here. I have to get back to doing my tutorial and then my project. Ciaoz.

I felt like blogging so here I am. Haha. Today I did not go for 'The Journey' as I went to witness Joel's baptism. It was interesting as it was different from PMC. Their 'pool of water' is a large rectangular hole on the stage. What I found interesting was what the pastor asked/said before he baptised the person. He asked all of them the same thing and of course, all of them had the same reply, 'Yes.' But then He said a different verse for each one of them after that. Cool eh? Hee ;) O and I found out that Joel's aunt is attending PMC. At first when I saw his aunt, I was sure she looked familiar to me but I could not figure out where I saw her. However, I was pretty sure that she looked familiar to me. Only when Joel asked his aunt that I realised she is from PMC. Haha. What a small world.

After that, I went to attend his youth service and I was quite surprised to find that it was small, really small. There was no ushers or anything. The worship was quite rock and I found the music louder than the vocals. As for the message, it was not really a message but more of a sharing. The surprising part was they actually talked about their youth service 'system' during the service. Whoa. No comments. But I saw and knew that the leaders and some youths were worshipping God freely. Nothing was going to hold them back from praising and worshipping God in ways they want to. When the service ended, I knew one thing for sure. I was really glad that I attended and experienced all these.

It made me looked at things from different perspective in regards to YMPACT. It made me realise and appreciate all the time and effort the youth committee has put into building the youth ministry to what it is today. Without them, I think we will still be a ministry with no proper 'system' and direction. It finally drawn onto me that it is easy to start one but difficult to continue and even build it up. I really really want to thank the Lord for each one of them. If any of the committee members (existing or non-existing) are reading this, I would like to express my appreciation for all your hard work and time and from the bottom of my heart, 'THANK YOU SO MUCH!!' :)

Another thing that struck me was during worship. As I was singing the songs, an image came to my mind. It showed youths with their hands lifted up and worshipping God freely. Rows and rows of youths. It was an awesome sight and what was fascinating about the image, was that I recognised the place the youths were in. It was the chapel that YMPACT is using now. I was overwhelmed that I felt tears swelling in my eyes. Emotions came that I could not understand. My prayer right now is that what I saw in my mind, will become a reality. How marvellous and wonderful it will be when it actually does come true. However there is one thing that I am still not sure about. The image I saw was from was a top view. Is it suppose to mean something or am I just looking too much into it? Is my passion a calling from God?

There are so many questions yet very few answers. *sigh* Anyway, I really thank God for all I had experienced and saw today. It had made a difference in me. Thank you Lord!! :)

Time for another update on my mundane life. I have gotten back all my mid-sem papers' results and they are somewhat acceptable. Haha. Marketing paper was the one I was most worried but by God's grace, I passed the paper. Yippee. :)

Since the start of school, projects are starting to pile up. My HR project is giving me a headache and I am taking HR as one of my electives next semester. O my goodness!!! Heh. I like HR but I don't like all the theory stuffs.

Anyway, this week was still so so. I went to watch phyllis's dance performance at the Esplanade on Tuesday and o my, it was beautiful and full of emotions. A wonderful performance to watch. Her dance group is now representing Singapore in Macau and they will be there for 9 days. Cool huh? And guess what, I watched my first match of the World Cup where France was against Portugal. Ahahaha... I supported Portugal but France won in the end because of a penalty kick. Bleah. Portugal deserves to win manz and Ronaldo is cute. Haha. ;P

Then I caught 4 hours of slp before heading to sch and I had Japanese culture and language test that day. Wahhhh... I am praying that I pass the paper can already. See, I am easily satisfied. Hehe. O and duing the Japanese lecture, it was on origami and I learned how to fold swans. Yay!!

I shall end here as I don't feel like typing already. Until next update. Bye.
